Hi, I`m

Charlotte Horeman

I’m a Judo coach with over 15 years of experience, dedicated to teaching students of all ages and helping them progress through the sport. Putting passion into the sport is what I do, and I'm here to help with all aspects of Judo.

Background

Charlotte Horeman has been immersed in the world of Judo since the age of 5, building a strong foundation through years of training and competition. Her dedication to the sport has earned her numerous medals and trophies from events across the country, showcasing her talent and determination. After achieving her blue belt, Charlotte shifted her focus from competing to teaching, where she has found a true passion for sharing her knowledge and love for Judo with others.

As a fully qualified Judo instructor, Charlotte holds a Teaching Qualification in Judo, along with certifications in First Aid, Paediatric First Aid, DBS, and a Safeguarding Lead Certificate. She has played an integral role in running her club, working closely with her father, Darren Horeman, and Ken Flooks, the club’s founder. Her experience extends beyond Judo, as she seamlessly transitions from teaching preschool children during the day to coaching Judo students aged 5 and up in the evenings, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all.

Charlotte’s teaching philosophy centres on the life skills and discipline Judo instills, making it more than just a sport for her students. She takes pride in supporting young judoka from their very first white belt class, guiding them through their progressions and celebrating their achievements as they move through the ranks. With her approachable nature and genuine passion for the art, Charlotte is a key figure in fostering the growth and development of the next generation of Judo practitioners.
