The Limitless Foundation Programme
A limited-place programme helping people and families in Southampton access martial arts when cost or difficult circumstances would otherwise stand in the way.
What a Foundation place can include
Foundation places give selected applicants free or heavily supported martial arts training at Limitless. Every place is handled privately, and every student trains as a normal member of the academy with the same coaching, standards and care.
- Fully funded or heavily discounted martial arts membership
- Suitable children's, young people's or adult martial arts classes
- Support with starter kit where needed
- Coach check-ins so the place supports attendance, confidence and progress
- A pathway into leadership, volunteering or assistant coaching as students grow
Who it is for
The programme is for children, young people and adults who would benefit from martial arts but may not otherwise be able to access full membership. That might mean a household is experiencing financial pressure, somebody is going through difficult circumstances, or a school, youth worker, support organisation or community group believes training could help.
How places are awarded
Places are limited and reviewed sensitively. We consider individual circumstances, likely benefit, commitment to attending and the number of supported places available. We do not require applicants to prove that they are more deserving than somebody else. A Foundation place is a supported route into the same academy, with the same standards and care.
Apply or refer someone
You can apply for yourself, apply as a parent or guardian, or refer somebody with their permission. Read the application guidance, or download the form below to complete digitally or by hand.
The form contains eight short questions. Please do not send bank statements, benefit records or detailed medical evidence with an initial application.
Delivered through our CIC
The Limitless Foundation Programme is delivered by Limitless Martial Arts as part of AG Martial Arts Academy CIC. This community interest structure helps us work with families, referral partners, local organisations and funders to widen access to martial arts in Southampton.
Support the programme
Members and local businesses can help fund future Foundation places. Get in touch if you would like to sponsor training, kit or a young person's first few months on the mats.
